My new favorite nude lip color is...Burt's Bees Tinted Lip Balm?!

I am constantly on the hunt for nude lip colors that actually look nice on me.  I am just one of those people who doesn't wear a nude lip well, but I want to so bad!

The other day I was out at the store and I saw the Burt's Bees Tinted Lip Balm in Hibiscus, and I thought I would give it a try.  I had heard a few beauty YouTubers mention it, and I figured it was worth a shot...

Low and behold, I think it is my new favorite go-to nude color for when I am on the go!

Burt's Bees Tinted Lip Balm in "Hibiscus" Arm Swatch

As you can see, it's a brownish nude with a hint of pink.  The coverage is sheer, but fairly well pigmented, so it actually shows up on my lips (which have a LOT of pigmentation naturally and often just absorb sheer nudes like a black hole for lipstick)

It is moisturizing and has a glossy sheen.  You will need to reapply often, but it IS a a balm, so that sorta just comes with the territory.

Top: UD Naked  Middle: Burt's Bees Hibiscus  Bottom: MAC Angel

I swatched it between two popular pink-nudes so you can get more of an idea what the color is like.  It is much browner than Urban Decay "Naked"lipstick, but funny enough, it is almost as pigmented.  It is more brown than MAC angel, and far less opaque. The two are really not comparable at all, but I just wanted to provide a color comparison that many people would be familiar with.

Here it is on the lips.  Very natural and subtle, but enough color and shine to look put together.  A real "My lips but better" color.

Well, safe to say this one will be riding in the front pocket of my purse for a while!
