Two things prompted this tutorial. I needed to use this Makeup Geek Plush Matte in Wild Child in a tutorial because the color makes my heart sing, and I also needed a fully matte look in my life because the holiday’s gave my a glitter hangover. I love glitter don’t get me wrong but damn homie…too much. So I created a cool toned gray halo lid and paired it with this bomb ass blue lip and I gotta be honest, I was super feelin’ it. The makeup plush mattes are really gorgeous so far, and I think they will be an excellent choice for those of you who don’t like super dry liquid lipsticks.

It’s a little more tricky to do the “halo” style lid with all matte shades because it requires a bit more blending, but if you grab the right palette and hit it with a few variations of similar shades, it will be easy peasy.
