Oh mah gahhhhh you guys, it’s Friday Faces! I did the dumbest thing this week. I did a little supplementary grocery shopping trip on Friday because we were having my in-laws stay with us for the weekend and I wanted to make sure they didn’t starve because I’m a gracious ass host, and then when they left there was still a lot of food so I didn’t go real grocery shopping at the beginning of the week. Fast forward to today and I’ve had coffee with no milk, a handful of granola and an apple with peanut butter on it. Moral of the story, just suck it up and go grocery shopping or you’re gonna be hungry later in the week. This concludes the segment I like to call “How Not to Adult, With Nicole”
Anyway, enough about how I’m bad at life, lets take a gander at the makeup looks that I’ve enjoyed the most over the last few weeks.
Laura Mercier Silk Cream Foundation | Anastasia Beverly Hill Illuminator in So Hollywood | Tarte Amazonian Clay Blush in Exposed | Kat Von D Tattoo Brow in Dark Brown| Anastasia DipBrow Pomade in Dark Brown | Anastasia Shadow Couture Palette | Colourpop Supershock Shadow in Nillionaire | Anastasia Liquid Lipstick in Sarafine | Kat Von D Tattoo Liner in Trooper |
Ok can we take a second to talk about how it drives me banana sandwich that my necklace is always turned around in photos? Either my face looks like quasi modo, or the clasp of my necklace is in the front. There is no in between. Also FYI it takes at least 75 frames to get each of these photos to look decent, which is what allows the necklace time to turn back around and show its claspy little face.
I wore this look to film my Fall Favorites video (which I had a good time making so I think I’ll be doing more of those types of things) and then I had to recreate the makeup to re-film the end of the video because some of the files got corrupted so I actually wore this exact look twice.
Laura Mercier Silk Cream Foundation | Anastasia Beverly Hills Illuminator in Starlight | Tarte Amazonian Clay Blush in Exposed | Kat Von D Tattoo Brow in Dark Brown| Anastasia DipBrow Pomade in Dark Brown | Anastasia Shadow Couture Palette | Colourpop Supershock Shadow in Get Lucky | Anastasia Liquid Lipstick in Veronica and Dusty Rose | Kat Von D Tattoo Liner in Trooper |
When I did this look I was like ugh I really think it would look good with false eyelashes, and it probably would have, House of Lashes Iconic Lashes would have made this extra poppin. However it was going to be a long day and I don’t know about you guys, but I can NOT stand to wear falsies for more than a few hours. It’s like my eyelid muscles can’t hold them up that long and they get super tired. Maybe I should wear really heavy ones for a few hours a day and blink a lot. Like eyelid deadlifts. I’ll let you know how it goes.

I wore this on Monday, which should have been grocery shopping day but instead I was out galavanting around without a care in the world like I wouldn’t be hangry on Thursday. So naive.
Let’s talk makeup though, these Stila Got Inked cushion liners have me torn. They don’t wear well on their own and some of the colors look awesome in the packaging but then look like straight doodoo when applied…but the colors that are nice ( smokey quartz and smokey bronze) look amazing and wear amazingly if you layer them over your usual black liquid liner. I put this one over the stila stay all day liquid liner, ya know to keep it in the Stila family and it worked great and I really loved it. But it’s a little pricey for a product that doesn’t perform well on it’s own…how did this turn into a mini review?
On a more positive note, Trust Issues by Anastasia Beverly Hills is one of the best fall colors I have ever owned. I’m so in love, especially now that it’s seasonally appropriate. I’ve had to force myself not to wear it every day because I don’t want to bore the crap out of you guys.
Anywho! I hope you enjoyed these makeup looks because I enjoyed wearing them and drawing them onto my face and all that. Have a great weekend!

So pretty! Can you please tell me what eyeshadows you used in the last pic I really love the brown color in the crease
Sure! All the shadows are from the Anastasia Shadow Couture palette (but I believe they’re sold individually as well) I used Fudge and Soft Peach in the crease and Pink Champagne all over the lid. 🙂
