You guyyyyys! I’m back. Did you notice I was gone? Probably not.
I haven’t posted in an entire week though, and it feels like an eternity. I think that’s the longest I have ever gone without making a post actually, but I was a little busy getting married so I think I’m excused. I’m not going to bore you all with the details of my wedding, but in summary I put the ring on my husbands right hand instead of his left hand during the ceremony, our limo driver rear ended someone on the way to the reception, and then we still managed to have a wonderful time. It was an eventful day to say the least.
Normally when I do product pick posts (say that five times fast) I like to make it something that’s somewhat affordable, but this time it’s a splurge item and I’m not sorry! I bought this Moroccan oil hairspray for the express purpose of having good wedding hair, and I think I might not ever be able to go back now.
Why It’s Awesome:
It’s light and non-sticky, but it still keeps every hair in place. It even drizzled on my hair and it still looked really good. It doesn’t weigh your hair down at all or make it get all tangled up toward the end of the night. It also doesn’t give that overly shiny glazed finish that hairspray can have sometimes. I hate that, I think it looks so tacky and fake.
Now for the best part - I’ve been spritzing this into my freshly washed hair and it gives pretty much perfect “day 2” texture to “day 1” hair and it does it without making everything feel dirty, even when I spray it at the roots. . .I don’t want to speak on the behalf of the world here but that’s like THE DREAM, right? That’s all I want for my hair. Love, happiness, prosperity and perfect day two texture.
If you’ve ever used moroccan oil products before then this goes without saying, but this stuff smells amazing. I want to wear it as a perfume. It’s light, fresh and clean and it’s strong enough that you can notice the fresh smell if you get up close to the hair, but not SO strong that it overpowers your perfume or anything.
Like I said, it’s definitely not cheap, but personally I don’t usually go through a full bottle of hairspray for around 6 months so it’s something that I feel like I can totally swing without breaking the bank. I had a hard time finding this particular moroccan oil hairspray in stores for some reason, but as always Amazon has my back. I found it HERE for the same price as it is in stores, so no need to run all over town looking for the stuff.
So thats all for now. I know this was a short little post, but I really wanted to sing from the rooftops how much I liked this product and I wanted to make sure I got something posted today as well because I freakin missed you guys! Life without blogging is totally sad and boring.
Back to business as usual now though, and holiday stuff is coming up soon and my Sephora friends and family sale purchases should be here very shortly so there’s no shortage of things to talk about, thats for sure!

Aww thank you that’s so sweet! I’ll probably post some on instagram once I get the professional ones back! <3<3
AHH Congratulations! And didn’t exactly notice you were gone, instead I realized today that I hadn’t seen your blog in a while and came to check 😛 Which could be indirectly the same thing because Facebook? And I am also sure you were gorgeous!
I just don’t get good two day hair texture… I get good night one right before I go to sleep texture (aka when no one but me will ever see it 😛 ) I need to find new ways to tackle my hair.
Thank you so much!
Good hair texture right before bed is a bummer. maybe you can put some dry shampoo in right before going to sleep? Or take a bunch of bedtime selfies hahahaha
