So if you’ve been paying attention to my posts for a while you may have noticed that while I’m definitely a beauty junkie, and I’m definitely into super polished, chic products. . . I’m also about 40% DIY natural product hippie lady. I like making things and I like knowing that the things in my hair and skincare aren’t harmful. But let’s be real, I can’t DIY everything. Some people can, but I’m just not that talented or dedicated. In turn I’m always on the lookout for the best natural beauty products.
So needless to say the semi-lazy hippie in me was very pleased to stumble upon three very moisturizing natural products (that I don’t have to DIY) right in time for that cold weather that just sucks the moisture right out of your skin.
Maple Holistics Silk18 Conditioner *
I’m a little bit picky about hair products, so whenever I try something new I’m always bracing myself for failure. When I first got this Silk18 conditioner I noticed it was super thick, and I thought for sure it was going to cause buildup and weigh down my hair. Boy was I wrong. Not only does this stuff leave my hair super soft and moisturized, it also rinses completely clean so it doesn’t weigh my hair down or leave it sticky at all. The little bonus feature is that it smells AMAZING. Like vanilla cake with a fresh little hint of powder or something light like that. So good. This stuff isn’t cheap but the bottle has lasted me quite a while and it still isn’t empty . . .and it’s on sale on amazon right now so that helps a bit!
Yes To Tomatoes Clear Skin Moisturizer
I don’t often change up my major skincare products, I know what works for me and I stick to it to avoid any issues. Unfortunately sometimes when I travel I leave entire sections of my beauty routine at home like a dumdum and have to pick up replacements at whatever local drugstores I can find. So recently while I was traveling I forgot my moisturizer and I had to find something to replace it at CVS, and let me tell you . . .drugstore skincare is not as cheap as I remembered it being. Maybe I only used to buy total crap but my goodness it gets pricey. So I grabbed this Yes To Tomatoes Clear Skin Moisturizer because it was natural, I know the brand and it wasn’t insanely priced. . . and I was pleasantly surprised!
It’s definitely way more moisturizing than I expected it to be. It’s thick and creamy, it absorbs into the skin quickly without feeling greasy and THANK GOD it doesn’t smell like tomatoes. That was my biggest concern. It actually smells really good. I also have fairly sensitive skin and I didn’t have any weird reactions to it. I have even found myself reaching for it as my morning moisturizer now that I’m home and I have other choices around. Definitely a good find.
Dr. Lipp Original Nipple Balm For Lips
I have heard of this stuff a million times, and I swear I was convinced that people just mentioned it because they wanted to say nipple. ( I can’t be the only one entertained by the name, don’t try to act all high and mighty over there like you didn’t giggle too) So when I got this teeny tiny sample tube in my Birchbox this month I was happy because I just ran out of my favorite CO Bigelow night balm and it was perfect timing, but I wasn’t expecting it to rock my world or anything. Then again maybe I am the only one who has the mind of a 12 year old boy, because CLEARLY they were mentioning this stuff because it’s super good and not just because nipple is fun to say.
The balm is very thick and a tiny bit goes a very long way. I have been putting it on at night before bed and when I wake up my lips are plump and soft, and I can STILL feel some of the balm on them. After the whole night. That’s pretty impressive. It doesn’t smell or taste like anything, which is fine by me. It just quietly does it’s jobs without any bells or whistles. It’s so good as a matter of fact that I already ordered the full size version and I’m hoping it gets here before I run out of the last scraps of this deluxe sample. Fingers crossed!
So those are the best natural beauty products that I’ve stumbled upon recently, and they all happen to be moisturizing powerhouses. I’ve been getting super lately, and just in time too. I can already feel that winter dryness creeping up on me. Not this year winter . . .not this year.
(Products marked with a * were sent to me for consideration. I am under no obligation to mention these products and as always all opinions formed of them are 100% my own. . .what is the point of using someone else’s opinion anyway? Doesn’t that defeat the purpose of an opinion? Weird)

Dr. Lipp’s is such good stuff, even though the name is kinda nuts. I broke down and finally got the Bite Agave lip mask, but honestly for me the Dr. Lipps works just as well.
Oh I’m so glad you said that because I was thinking of trying the agave mask for a while now but the price is sorta bananas for a lip treatment. Dr. Lipp’s isn’t cheap either but its a lot cheaper than THAT, and it’s got built in jokes so I think it’s an all around win LOL
Maple Holistics Silk18 Conditioner is literally the best haircare product I’ve ever used. Spot on article!
I know isn’t it awesome?? Definitely one of the best finds I’ve made in a long time ❤️
Cant wait to wake up with plump juicy lips..my own I mean 🙂
