You know, sometimes a really great product will just sneak up on you. Like when you add something to your online cart to get free shipping (go only fifty more dollars unit; i get free shipping? Better find more stuff!) and that one little thing happens to be amazing. Thats the exact story of how I stumbled upon this C.O.Bigelow. My Favorite Night Balm

I have always been a fan on the C.O. Bigelow Mentha Lip Shines, especially the “Magenta Mint” So I figured it would be pretty good, and maybe even handy dandy for travel or something since the tube is pretty small. I didn’t think there was any shot of it replacing my Elizabeth Arden 8 Hour cream . . .but guess what! It did. I’ve been using it every single night, and I even got my fiancé hooked on it and he usually makes a stink face at me when I try to get him to use skincare stuff so you know it’s gotta be pretty good.

The constancy is really thick, as you can sorta see in the picture above where I’m squeezing a little out of the tube, which is great because you actually feel like it stays on the whole night. You know how most stuff disappears by morning? I can still feel it on my lips when I get up, except maybe on nights where I sleep face down by accident, then it just rubs off the pillow because . . .well anything would I guess.

If you’re thinking that the thickness means it’s sticky, think again. It’s very smooth and doesn’t feel uncomfortable at all, and it has a faint scent of vanilla or coco. It’s very light scent though so even if you aren’t a big fan of scented lip products I don’t think this would bother you.

I also found that after using this, any rough skin that was on my lips the day before comes off easily in the shower if I rub it lightly with a cloth or even just with my finger.

I even use this sometimes during the day, despite the name. It stays on nicely and isn’t sticky but it’s shiny as a mofo, so its a perfect clear daytime gloss too if you ask me!
