Sometimes I put on a certain lip color with a certain nail color and I just can’t help walking around that whole day like I’m feelin’ myself. This was one of those times, so I figured I would let you guys in on the combination in case you want to walk around like you’re feelin’ yourself too.

There’s just something about matching lips and nails that seems so put together. In person the lip color is a little darker, and more similar to the nail color. It just photographs very red for some reason.

On my lips I’m wearing OCC Lip Tar in the color Vintage. Besides the obvious fact that Lip Tars have an awesome formula, this color hits the perfect sweet spot for me. It’s dark and deep and rich, but it’s still red and not quite burgundy. Don’t get me wrong, I love a burgundy lip too. I just seem to have a hard time finding colors that hit that perfect balance.

On my nails I’m wearing OPI’s Malaga Wine. Fun Fact: I used to get the OPI Gel Color version of this every time I went to the salon, for like months and months. I could never do that now I get bored way too easily.

What really brings the whole combination home for me is the half moon manicure. It’s got such a vintage-meets-modern feel, and it makes your nails look SUPER long.
