It’s Spring! Huzzah! Spring makeup time! Hooray! To be honest I don’t change much about my eye makeup in the spring, but spring lip colors are another story. I enjoy me a nice juicy spring lip.

So I figured what better way to enjoy the spring lip colors that are circulating the interwebs and makeup stores than to show you my top five spring lip colors of the year?

I’m not going to go super in depth on the formulas because I’ve talked about them all in the past. But obviously these are all formulas that I enjoy or I wouldn’t put them in my top five, duh.

What.A.Beautiful.Color. It’s red, it’s coral, its neutral. I think it may be my favorite for day to day wear right now and that’s saying something because my lipstick collection is insane. It feels very old hollywood glam to me, and I think it would be flattering on pretty much any human of any skin tone.

You want bright? This baby is bright! But it has enough pink in it to make it wearable for even the less adventurous of us. If you want to try purple but you’re scared to look too intergalactic planetary sexy robot from the future, this is the purple for you.

I almost didn’t buy this because I thought it was boring. Oh how I was wrong. It’s SO pretty. It’s the quintessential spring shade, and it looks so healthy and beautiful.

KAT VON D EVERLASTING LIQUID LIPSTICK // BAUHAU5

Almost, but not quite, neon berry pink. Stays on all day. Boom, enough said.

STILA STAY ALL DAY LIQUID LIPSTICK // FIRENZE

“This is just another nude you boring ass bish!” is what you may be saying in your head, but guess what…your head is wrong. It’s a nude, obviously but it’s got just the right balance of warm and neutral to give you that light, healthy, bright and airy spring feel. Nyom nyom nyom I just want to eat it up.
