FridayFaces Time! Yaaaaaaaay! We’ve got it all this week. We’ve got lip art, we’ve got a fun hairdo we’ve got ombre nude lips! You name it, we got it.

So let’s catch up on whats been going on around these parts. Hmm…well I went on a hike with my husband this week! Like a real hike where you go all the way to the top of a mountain. It was challenging for me I’m not even gonna lie to you. Climbing is hard on the cardiovascular system, and combine that with a fear of heights…I may or may not have panicked for a moment or two. I made it all the way though, and it was pretty rewarding once I got up there. I’ve never been on the summit of a mountain before, so that was pretty neat. My husband is a part mountain goat though, he was hoofing it up these rocks so fast. If we ever have to survive in the wild he’s gonna outlive me by a large margin. Good to know.

Makeup has been fun lately. I’ve been getting out of my comfort zone and doing more creative stuff now and then and I’m really happy about it. It makes it way more fun when you’re willing to get real weird with it once in a while. Otherwise it gets sorta stale, ya know what I’m sayin?

Speaking of fun makeup the first look is another creative lip art that I did recently. I don’t now what inspired this, I’m not even sure what it is quite frankly, but I know I had fun making it and I like the way it looks.

[show_shopthepost_widget id=”1559487″] Next look is something I wore on a humid rainy day. Why do I mention the weather you ask? Well first and foremost because I’m a whiner…no no I just joking it’s because I think this may be my new go-to rainy day hair style. I never like to wear my hair in a ponytail or a bun outside of the house because it gives me a headache and I never really feel that cute. Not only does this make me feel cute, the braided front and half bun distribute the weight and it doesn’t make my head hurt. If you have a lot of hair you know what I’m talking about. The ponytail headache struggle is real.

So instead of just letting my hair get gross and limp in the rain, boom half-up-braidy-bun. I should probably come up with a better name than that. Also I would love to do a tutorial because it’s pretty easy but it might be tougt to film…we shall see.

I also mention that it was rainy because wearing this bright pink lipstick literally cheered me up that day. I know it sounds insane but it brightened my mood as well as my mouth.

I used two of the new ABH nudes in Ashton & Stripped. They were giving me a makeup boner individually but together…I think I want to marry them and have their lipstick babies. It’s not lust, it’s love you guys.
