It’s FridayFacesssss tiiiiiiiimmmme, time to talk about makeup ideas, and I’m feelin’ GooOoOOOod! I wish you guys could see how I in real life I basically walk around singing a narrative to everything I do and dancing to it as I go. I feel like it would help you understand the whole picture when I write silly things like that. If you follow me on snapchat then you probably get it a little. You know what’s ironic though? I hate musicals. What a weirdo.

I’m over here, coolin’ at my desk taking my sweet ass time writing today’s post, but I really need to get my act together because after I write this I’m leaving to help friends move into their new apartment. They’re moving all the way from Long Island to right in our neighborhood, which is all a part of my husband and I’s plan to turn Northern New England into a New Yorker Ex Pat Dog Lovers commune mwahahaha…so I mean the least we can do is help them with the moving van.

In other fun news I finally broke 1k Instagram followers. I know that’s not a lot in the scheme of things but I have been working really hard on my social media content (after stupidly neglecting it for years and years) so it’s really satisfying to see things grow. It’s like watching my baby go to it’s first day in pre school…ok that’s dramatic Nicole, reel it in. Jeez.

I’ve been having a ton of fun with my makeup ideas lately. Sometimes when you do creative stuff, even if it’s just makeup, you need to give your brain a rest for a few days and then the creativity comes back with a vengeance. It’s like working out your muscles, they build when you rest….Now that I talked it up you’re gonna be like “all that talk for these brilliant makeup ideas? Take a hike, lady” ok ok, give me a break I may have hyped it too much

For this first look, one of my followers (who I know from real life too, Hi sam!) tagged me in a post where someone used flash tattoos to make lip art, and I was like YUP gotta try me some of that. I wish I could find the post she tagged me in but it’s been buried under weeks of Instagram notifications…I wish those were searchable. Anyway, this is what I did with them. Big time futuristic capital vibes, but I dig it.

The second look is a little out of the box for me because of how pale the lip is, I don;t usually reach for such pale pinks. But as I mentioned in my recent post about rosy nude lipsticks, Dose of Colors Liquid Lipstick in Stone is the tits! It’s very flattering for a pale color, so if you are on the fair side and feel like you want to try something that pale without looking like a corpse then that may be one you want to try.
