There are few things that can royally f*ck up your morning. Running out of clean chonies, your dog eating your sunglasses, your Kat Von D Tattoo liner drying out. Just to name a few.
I can’t do your laundry or train your dog, but I can help with your Kat Von D Tattoo Liner drying out prematurely. Here’s a secret, it’s probably not actually dried out!
So the major draw of that tattoo liner is that it’s a pen with a fine brush tip. It’s fantastic. It’s like drawing on your liner with the finest calligraphers pen. But the thing is, it’s a brush and like all makeup brushes it get’s gunked up if you don’t clean it.
So if you go to use it and it seems dry, but you’re like nahhhhh this is way too soon, then try this:
Simply dip the tip of the bristles into your makeup cleaning solution (if you don’t have a spot cleaner you can try washing it like you would a regular brush but be gentle and cautious) wipe the bristles off on a paper towel, and give it another try.
Nine times out of ten your liner will be flowing like new. It makes sense if you think about it, you’re dragging it over all sorts of powder and cream shadows all the time, of course the bristles are going to collect stuff and get clogged. Then when they’re full of dry product they don’t let the liner flow out of the brush. Seems simple enough, I’m not sure why it took me so long to think of it actually. Derp.
Obviously there will come a day when it is actually dried out because as much as Kat Von D Products seem like magic, they are not in fact a magic well of never-ending eyeliner. Someone should invent that though.
