I’m not usually one to ooh and ahh over a cleanser. In fact I often make my own cleansing balm at home. But after reading all of the glowing Boscia Makeup Breakup reviews online, I wound up grabbing one of those mini bottles on the way out of Sephora. You know the isle of doom right before the register? They always get me, those sneaky bastids.
I wound up using the entire mini bottle and I can say two things with absolute certainty:
- This is the only store bought cleanser that I like better than my DIY one (it even smells a lot like the one I make, which is awesome)
- My skin has been looking better than it has since . . .well basically before puberty, and this is the only thing I have changed.
So obviously I like it, and I’ll probably continue using it for a very long time. But whats the haps? What are the deets? Tell us more, you say! Ok calm down I’m getting to that.
To use this cleanser you pump some of the oil into your hand and apply it to your face without washing or wetting it first. You then spread it around in circular motions using your fingers and rinse it off with warm water (I like to use warm water on a damp cloth) It’s easy, it feels cooling and nice and leaves the skin clean but not dry. It also really does remove waterproof makeup. I find that I have to show some special attention to my waterproof mascara but it does remove it without rubbing or tugging which is more than I can say for most cleansers.
The small 1.7 oz bottle lasted for around a month and a half which leads me to believe the larger one that I just purchased will last around 4 and a half months. At $28 dollars a bottle that doesn’t feel cheap but at the same time, it’s definitely worth shelling out a few extra bucks for if it works really well with your skin.
In a nutshell if you have been reading the Boscia Makeup Breakup reviews on the Sephora site or elsewhere, wondering if it really is that good (I mean the reviews really are STUPID good to the point where it’s almost hard to believe) I can say that they seem to be true. Definitely worth getting at least one of the tiny isle of doom bottles and trying it out for yourself ?
