You know when you want to try a product because it just seems weird and you’re skeptical that it will do anything at all? No, just me? Well it is what it is and thats why I wanted to try the Urban Decay Ultimate Ozone Pencil. I picked it up at Sephora and used it on the back of my hand. It literally looked like absolutely nothing, so I put it back down and then, when I walked away I couldn’t stop thinking about it.
I dreamt that we held hands in the park. I thought I saw it across a crowded room, but it was just a 24/7 shadow stick. I looked off into the distance and sighed when I thought of all the makeup priming possibilities I was missing out on. I was considering taking out a missed opportunities ad on CraigsList.
Mad ramblings of a makeup addict? Maybe. But let me tell you something, suga. I went back and got it and it is actually one of the best multitasking products I have ever used. It looks like nothing, but it does a little bit of everything.
What can a clear pencil that looks like nothing do you ask?
- Prime the lips for lip color (works especially well with liquid lipsticks that are a little stubborn to apply)
- Line lips to prevent feathering without actually affecting the lipstick color
- Prime and smooth out blemishes so your concealer goes on smooth and stays on all day
- Clean up eyeliner mistakes (if you catch the mistake before the eyeliner sets)
- Prime pretty much any area you think needs extra attention
- Apply to inner corners before you add your inner corner highlight and watch that baby shine like the sun
- Probably 358 more things that I haven’t thought of yet
I know this isn’t so much an Urban Decay Ultimate Ozone review as it is a full on rave, but that’s my review. It’s awesome, it’s versatile, even if you don’t think you need it you’ll probably find something it’s useful for. Everything and nothing, my friends. Everything and nothing.

It also is perfect for erasing the mascara that ends up all over your eye lids without messing up your eyeshadow!
That’s such a smart idea! thanks for the tip!
