Haayyy! Friday Faces makeup chit chat time is here! Woohoo! I feel like it’s been a long time since the last one of these but it’s only been two weeks, which is pretty much standard. You would think it feels like a long time because it’s been an exciting few weeks or something, but that not really the case so much. I mean it’s just been normal life over here at casa del QuinnFace. It has been hotttttttttt like a motherf*cker though.

This is not a popular way to think, but I kinda hate summer. HEAR ME OUT! So it get’s hot and it looks like it should be beautiful outside, but then you get outside and it’s too hot to function so you go back in and watch Netflix or something except now it’s depressing because you feel like you should be outside. It’s a terrible cycle. I wish it could just be an endless cycle of fall and spring, I want light jackets to always be an option but not a necessity. Is there anywhere that has weather like that? Help a girl out.

Oh! and Matt and I decided since it was so hot that we would head to the beach in Maine for the day. It was 90 degrees at home (which is like 40 minutes from the shore) and when we got to the beach it was 66! What the actual living shart is that about? Lmao we couldn’t win this week. But enough of my first world whining. let’s check out some makeup looks from this sweaty sweaty week!

I don’t know if you can tell, but I got a new camera, and it actually shows the colors of makeup properly! I barely had to adjust these at all to get them to look right, and they still look better than any past photos. I’m pumped. This was actually the day before it got super hot here, which is probably why I’m serving full on fall color vibes. I can’t help it, I just like those types of colors the most. It was already nice a humid though, as you can tell by my hair. I’ve pretty much accepted that July-September is one long bad hair day. That’s why I don’t spend too much time on it and just use my five minute beach waves method…or just throw it in a top knot and call it a draw.

I sorta really love this green eyeliner. It’s the Stila sparkle liner in electric layered over my usual Kat Von D Tattoo liner, and it makes such a deep, rich green. Also totally feeling that colourpop copper shadow, those are totally one of those hyped up products that deserve it. Maybe I should do a products worth the hype post, because I feel like I say that a lot.

Clearly I was feeling this look because I took 30 million pictures of it. Sometimes it’s the simplest things that are the most fun. Also I was highlighted to death, so thats always a plus. Colored mascara is a really easy way to add some interest to your look without adding another product that might melt off your face. Write that down.

I wore this look to walk to brunch and I wanted to show you guys my dress because I’m in love with it. It’s light and airy, but it doesn’t stretch out, and even though it’s a t-shirt dress it still has some shape because of the twisty cutout in the front. I also like that it shows a little skin, but in a spot where you don’t have to worry that you eat a french fry and suddenly grow a muffin top ‘knamean?

Do you see in that last photo what I mean about the hair though? It’s just all over the damn place as soon as I walk outside. Oh well, such is life, at least my blue mascara was on point.

I didn’t get any full face photos of this because I’m a dumb dumb pop, but I wore it with a neutral lip. Surprise Surprise. I really like doing unexpected inner corner colors. It’s sorta weird and interesting and editorial-ish but still totally wearable. Thats how I like my makeup to be. Interesting and different, but not so much that people are gonna talk sh*t about me after I walk by…although I’m sure plenty of people do that anyway because that’s just what people do. Whatever, it’s not for them anyway, it’s for me damnit! 😉

So that’s it for this weeks makeup looks. I just looked it up and as of today there are 60 days left until fall…We can make it you guys. I can’t wait to wear dark brown lipstick and a beanie again!
