It’s finally here! It’s finally here! It’s time to move into the new house! Which is really good news for my makeup looks because all this running around got me slackin! It’s super hard to find makeup inspiration when you’re looking at boxes and paint cans all day erry day. Although I’ve been slacking less this week, but more on that later.
I do have a few looks to show you guys this week, but I also want to show some photos of what we’ve been doing lately and the makeup I wore when we we’re on the road and stuff. If you don’t care about my life then you can shove it…ermmmm scroll down to where the makeup looks start.
My makeup held up really well considering we spent 5 hours in a u-haul and then loaded things into it for a few more hours, so I figured that might be of interest to my busy ladies out there.

We had to take a van back down to New York to pick up a few things that we left there from our old apartment. As you can see from the first photo Charlie thought he was driving but I was like dude…you’re totally not even of age and I don’t have time to get pulled over today. He agreed we should let Matt drive.
This makeup went on quickly and held up really well through a tough day. Definitely a good option if you want to look cute and you need it to stay with easy touchups. I don’t know why I gave a crap what I looked like in the u-haul, but I wanted to put my face on soooo I did.
The next day I wore pretty much the same look. After a bunch of hours of packing stuff up and throwing away a million old things we don’t need I went to my moms to get my hair cut (having a hairdresser in the family is the best) and again, it held up like a champ.
Check out my fresh fade!
The rest of the week looked a whole lot like the photo above. In a room, with painting supplies, the dog looking out the window because he’s so sick to death of watching me paint while I dance and listen to Snoop. But here’s the thing…I couldn’t take it anymore! I got so bored of looking plain and boring in the face every day that I started full on doing my makeup to go over the house. For the sake of my sanity (and my blog content) it had to be done.

Simple look for errands and then painting. I’m so into brown liquid liner for summer, the difference is really subtle but I feel like its a lot softer on the eyes and allows for a bolder lip to look more seasonally appropriate, if you’re picking up what I’m putting down. Another fun fact: messy hair looks more acceptable if you wear a bold lip.

Don’t judge my messy sink, I’m moving!
Again, loving the brown liner…also loving the brown false lashes! The House of Lashes bambi lashes are so huge and fluttery and luscious but the brown makes them almost daytime appropriate…almost. Good thing IDGAF because I wore these grocery shopping at 11 am.
Also can we talk for one second again about how Kat Von D Lolita is the like the healthiest looking, coolest, most badass midi-shade of all time? It’s like a tube of instant pretty.

This look is really simple but I jazzed it up by using Anaconda from the Anastasia Artist Palette on the lower lash line. I also layered it over the Urban Decay 24/7 pencil in Junkie on the waterline and the color it created was just…delish. Not to mention layering a powder over a pencil makes your waterline color last like a boss.
Not too bad for a total lack of makeup inspiration and ya know…the fact that I’m wearing it to go grocery shopping and/or paint by myself. Next time we have a Friday Faces post it will be from inside the new house! Huzzah!
Consequently if I’m a tiny but MIA the next week or so then it’s because we’re moving…or I’m trapped under a pile of boxes. Time will tell, friends, time will tell.
