If there again comes a day when I need to describe to an employer my special skill sets, would it be inappropriate to include browsing? I’m just so good at it, it seems a terrible waste not to mention it. What I’m trying to say is . . .I’ve compiled another lust list! So let’s window shop together for summer must have’s and dream of a world where we all have bold lips, bronzed legs and fresh kicks.

1. Eddie Funkhouser Chromographic Eye Gloss - I have been searching for a long time for a product that will give a wearable glossy eye look. It all started when I saw the original promotional images for the L.A.M.B. Fragrance where Gwen Stefani had that unbelievable glossy cut crease. OOO girl! But I quickly realized that it was very hard to wear a glossy eye in real life, because by nature it just doesn’t last and ends up a smeary mess. So I have settled for trying products that have a little luster and shimmer and can sort of simulate that look, even if it’s not quite as alluring. So far a few creamy products have come close, but my next adventure is going to be the Eddie Funkhouser Chromograohic Eye Gloss. Swatches look pretty promising. It seems to be very similar to the Lorac 3D Liquid Lustre drops, which I will also happily give a go, but I love trying out new brands. I already know I like Lorac so might as well Give this Eddie Funkhouser a try . . .also I just think Funkhouser is a cool name. Don’t judge.
2. Glass Terrariums - If you asked me five years ago if I gave a damn if there were plants in my house I would have looked at you like you were crazy. Now that I’m grown (I guess) I am really appreciating a little greenery around the apartment, specifically in the form of succulents. Why succulents? Well because they’re interesting and cool to look at, but also because I suck at keeping up with plants and succulents will survive my crappy care taking. I have a bunch in pots along my window sills, but I would LOVE to get some on shelves inside some cool, glass terrariums. I really want on of those big geometric ones, but they aren’t exactly cheap, so I may just start out with some little round glass ones and work my way up from there.
3. Sephora Luster Matte Long-Wear Lip Color - I have a serious fixation with long-wear liquid lipsticks. I can’t get enough. These Sephora ones have an insanely beautiful finish and some really cool colors, but I have so many similar products in other formulas that I can’t justify the purchase to myself. But I want them. I’m so torn!
4. The Body Shop Honey Bronze Shimmering Dry Oil - You know those girls who have the prettiest legs and arms, just sorta kissed by the sun and a little shiny? I think things like bronzing dry oils are their secret. I do use my own home made shimmering body butter, and it has the right effect, but I prefer something more light on the skin during the warmer months, and I think the oil might give just a touch more sheen. I can’t be sure, because it’s weird to walk up to a girl on the street and ask why their legs look so pretty, but I’m going to try this and if it’s the secret i’ll let you know.
5. Gourmet Footwear 35 Lite in Pink Croc - I think I mentioned in another lust list post that my friend got me obsessed with a brand called Gourmet Footwear. I never did end up buying the pair of floral sneakers that I wanted, but now that it’s summer and my legs are going to be bare more often, I think these pink croc ones are just the thing I need in my life. They look even better in their pictures on instagram. They’re really gonna pop next to my Honey Bronze Legs (LOL!)
