Do you guys remember how not that long ago, dry shampoo wasn’t even a thing? Like it existed, sure. I think Psssst has been around since like the 70s. But nobody used it, and it was sort of unheard of. How did we live that way?! It baffles the mind. If I could take back all the time I spent unnecessarily washing my hair every day . . .I would have a lot of time.
So seven million years ago I wrote a post about allll the different dry shampoos I’ve tried and what their pros and cons are. Since that post I have stopped trying so many, because I started using Batiste and I think I found the best dry shampoo and so I’m sticking with it. Well, the best in my opinion AND for the price.
Why I Like It:
- First of all, it absorbs ALL the oil. Like I can put it in my hair when I think it’s beyond the point of no return and it still makes it look clean.
- It adds a TON of volume. I have limp straight hair so it’s hard to get lift at the root, and with this stuff I can get big hair. I don’t necessarily want big hair but it’s nice to have options.
- It comes in a variety of colors, so you can get the right one and it won’t make your hair have giant white streaks in it. They have a shade for dark brunettes, medium brunettes, blondes and redheads. The non colored varieties are still good though, I especially like the sassy and daring wild one. You just have to make sure to brush it through well.
- Every variety I’ve tried smells awesome, but doesn’t have such a strong scent that it overpowers your perfume all day.
- It’s around $8-9, so much more wallet friendly than the Klorane one that I used to use, which is very helpful since I go through them really quickly.
So if you’re still looking for the best dry shampoo, maybe give this one a try! Or if you have an all time favorite that you swear by let me know why it’s so good!
