Hey everyone! Today is Day 10 of my Holiday makeup inspiration series!

I looked over the previous looks and I though to myself…OK self, some people really like to rock a nude lip. But I just don;t get a feeling of “Festive” from a nude lip, you know what I mean?

So I decided to do a nude lip version of my “red lip with gold highlight” look !

I am not one to wear nude lipstick. I love the way it looks on other people but on me…just bleh. But I do love me a nice nude gloss!

Gold is way more festive than…not gold.

You can get this look in two quick steps!

Step 1. Use a gold metallic highlight, either an eyeshadow, a cream eyeshadow, a gold lipstick, whatever you’ve got. Take it on your finger or a small brush and dab it onto the cupids bow of your lip.

Step 2. Take a clear nude gloss, whatever your got to nude gloss is, and apply it to your whole lip. I chose one with glitter in it, to add to the festivity! When you are applying it to the cupids bow area be careful and apply it in gentle downward strokes so that the gold blends into the lip. This will give it almost an ombre effect!

And thats it. Couldn’t be simpler!
