Oh my gawdddd we’re back again, with reverse smokey liner everybody saaaang. Ok sorry, reverse smokey liner, I did a tutorial on it. I asked if you guys wanted to see it, you said yes and here it is! Here at Msquinnface we deliver like pizza hut.
All kidding aside I really do think this is a good technique to master. Its very simple and understated but you can wear it with anything and people will be like woooow that’s simple but clearly this little bih knows what she’s doing because that’s not the type of winged liner you see every day and I am both intrigued and mesmerized by her and hope that she will want to be best friends. True story.
Today, or maybe yesterday, I’m not sure and I’m too lazy to Google but one of those days marks the first official day of fall. If you thought I was going hard in the paint with fall colors already then hold onto your chonies kids because its about to get real burgundy up in here.
Here are some still shots of the makeup in the tutorial above and then let’s get along little doggies to the other looks from the week.

The next look is super duper fall goodness. I did a little carved out inner crease which always makes things look a tiny bit more edgy and highlighted with Kat Von D Thunderstruck shadow because it is so damn beautiful as a highlight. MM MM so good. It was also my first time using the ABH mini gloss set for fall, the glosses are absolutely gorgeous but I can’t be trusted wearing opaque gloss until it’s beanie season. If my hair is loose it gets all in the gloss and then my hair touches my face and it leaves little gloss lines across my cheeks and it’s a whole thing.

My last look comes with a lesson. If you need to look like a cool kid in under five minutes here is what you do. Find a big mirrored pair of sunglasses, pop on a very bold lipstick aaaand done. You don’t have to pick as bold a color as I used here, but in my opinion the bolder the better.
Also this lip color is one of the NYX cosmic metals and the formula on these is absolutely insane. They are a gloss so they aren’t super long wearing, but the consistency and pigmentation of these are what you would expect from and extremely high end brand and they’re $7.99 That’s a win in my book.

I don’t recall where I wore this or why I felt like I needed to look cool so quickly, but I’m glad I did because it gave my an excuse to wear this bomb ass lipstick.
A lot of times people ask if I wear these colors out of the house and if so how I get the confidence to do that. The answer is yes and the confidence comes from two places. First and foremost my mom always taught me to be confident no mater what, and if I didn’t feel confident I should basically fake it till I make it. Second source of confidence is not giving a flying f*ck what people think. Say you wear a blue lip to the store and when you leave the cashiers all talk shit about you…so? They’re clearly very bored or they are super basic, let em talk babeeeeey! As long as you feel fly that’s all that matters.
I wasn’t expecting this post to end in a speech about lipstick and confidence, but you never know what’s gonna come out of this old brain sometimes I guess.
Hope you guys enjoyed the reverse smokey liner tutorial! See you in a few days…unless you follow me on social (which you should, duh) and then I will see you in a few minutes!
