For a long time I didn’t quite understand the hype around the Nordstrom Anniversary Sale. I mean it’s just another sale, big deal right? Except this year I started seeing a lot of things on there that caught my eye, and when I started poking around I realized why it gets people so pumped. It’s because Nordy’s has freakin’ everything. Tons of makeup brands that you can’t even find most places, they carry topshop clothes, they have all the nicest luxury skincare. I’ve been sleeping on this sale and I regret it with my whole heart.
So I decided to peruse the Nordstrom Anniversary Sale and make a wishlist of the best deals from the beauty section…and then probably just buy all of them because I have no self control. I’m not going to go in to super duper detail about the items because they are mostly either things I’ve already raved about in a fabulous value set, or new things that I wouldn’t try if they weren’t on sale.

Oh and today (July 21st) is still Early Access Only but tonight at midnight the sale opens to everyone from the 22nd through August 7th so get in there early while there’s still lot’s of goodies left.

The Living Proof Perfect Hair Day Set is SUCH a good deal. That stuff is pricey but I love their shampoo and conditioner and I have also recently become completely hooked on the dry shampoo. It’s hand’s down the best dry shampoo I have ever used, but unfortunately also the most expensive, so this set isnot to be passed up.
Also, I need to elaborate on the candle. I bought my first Illume Candle last year at a spa. It was 17 bucks for something not much larger than a tea light, but no candle has every filled my home with such an aroma before. The candle in the sale is also from Illume but its much bigger. It’s still 29.90 but that’s half price and it’s a total treat yourself item.

Hi I was wondering what the scent of your illume candle from anniversary sale is called!?
The one in the sale is called Amber dunes, you can actually click through right on the image above and it will take you to it on the nordstrom site. The one I was on love with originally is called balsam and cedar, I believe it’s seasonal and I’m hoping it will be coming back soon now that winter is approaching!
