Does anyone else feel like spring lasts for one single second and that’s all? The sun comes out, we defrost, a few birds chirp and 45 seconds later I’m sweating with the AC on. How? HOW?!

But we shall take it as it comes because at least it gives us an excuse to do my favorite thing, online window shopping, and discuss the absolute beauty and makeup must haves for summer. I feel like I’m overstepping my bounds calling them must haves, like who am I freaking allure magazine? But I feel that I must have them so I guess that’s the right thing to call them…maybe? Who the hell knows.

1. SMASHBOX ALWAYS ON MATTE LIQUID LIPSTICK IN CHILL ZONE // You may have noticed by now, but I don’t really give a flying shart about summer colors. I will wear black and burgundy to your 4th of July BBQ ok? So of course as summer creeps in on us I have my eye on this grey liquid lipstick color from Smashbox. This formula is pretty new but I have been hearing really great things so I am stoked to try it in such a bad ass cool ass gray ass color.
2. SEPHORA HAND MASKS // Umm whet? You can use sheet masks on your hands? Momma always told me that your hands give away your age, I will be stocking up on this shortly.
3. SEPHORA LIP MASKS // Ok I have lip masks already but not a little sheet mask for your lips though! How cute. I bet they’re awesome for prepping your lips. Maybe not every day because that would get pricey but before an event or something. Ehhh you see where I’m going with this? I will try them and let you know what I think.
4. ST TROPEZ SELF TAN CLASSIC SPRAY // When I was a youngin’ I used to buy this self tan aerosol spray from sally beauty supply called TanWise. It was cheap and it was so easy to apply. Unfortunately at the time I didn’t know any better and I later realized it was kind of a cheeto color. It also lasted for like 2 days before it was gone. If this is what I think it is then the color and staying power of St. Tropez combined with the easy spray on application might be my new favorite thing. Fingers crossed.
5. BENEFIT COSMETICS BROWVO BROW PRIMER & CONDITIONER // I have been brushing argan oil through my brows at night for a while now and I have seen a really huge imporvement in how my brows look day to day. This baby says it will condition the brows while also priming them for product…ummm yes please and thank you I will take five.
6. NYX LID LINGERIE // These are essentially cream shadows that dry down. Like liquid lipstick for your lids! I have a lot of products like this already but NYX is a much more affordable brand so I think these will be fun to play with and more accessible, ja know? These types of eye products are super awesome for summer too because you can do a simple wash of color on the lid and be done with it. Light and airy but also still fleeky-deeky.
