I’ve finally found it guys. Hand cream for people who hate hand cream! Well sort of.

Do you have dry hands but you hate putting on a cream during the day and having greasy or sticky hands? Me too, that sh*t drives me bananas. But I also hate having dry hands so it’s a bit of a catch22. I’ve heard people talk about gel hand creams before but in my mind it made no sense because I thought of hand sanitizers which turn me into a dry wrinkled old crone soooo how can a gel moisturize me?

But the L’occitane Gel Hand Cream kept popping up in my suggestions on Amazon…which is creepy, like how you know me so well Amazon? You also know where I live I don’t know how I feel about this. But since it kept coming up and my hands are starting to get dry as the fall weather creeps toward winter tundra status I figured I would give it a try.

I’ve had it in my bag for around a week now and its a godsend! I will admit that it’s not the most moisturizing thing on earth, but it is moisturizing enough for daytime use. I still prefer something thicker like the J.R Watkins Lemon Hand Cream for night time before bed, to really pump some moisture in there…It also smells exactly like lemon quadratti cookies. But for daytime when you don’t want to be a greasy lemon cookie the L’occitane Gel Cream is hand bag perfection.

It is perfect hand bag size, the gel is light but relieves any feeling of dryness, and after rubbing it in it leaves them with a soft powdery finish. Powdery sounds kinda weird, but it’s powdery in a freshly baby powdered bottom sorta way. Fresh and soft. And the scent is nice but not overpowering, which I also like. I spend too much money on perfume to have it overpowered by my hand cream, knamean?

If you have been looking for something that won’t make you sticky and greasy throughout the day but will still keep your hands nice and soft, then this might be your solution. I promise gel hand cream and gel hand sanitizer have a very different effect 😉
