You might be wondering WTF I need a nail treatment for, because you guys see photos of of my nails all the time and they are pretty long and strong. But even though they are pretty hard, I have been dealing with the ends of them peeling for . . .basically since as I was old enough to be aware of my nails. As I began to care for them more, the peeling lessened, but still once they got to a certain length a big fat layer would lift up and peel off from the tip. Super annoying.
Not only does that weaken the nail and lead them to breaking more often, it also makes your nail polish look uneven, and it’s generally just the freakin’ worst. It also catches on things which is just…UGH. If you have peeling nail problems I know you feel me on all these issues so I’ll quit my bitching.
About a month ago I was trolling amazon on my phone and this CND RescueRXx Nail treatment that has really great reviews for it’s results with peeling nails, so being the huge Amazon addict that I am I one click ordered it from my bed and then forgot until it arrived at my door. Please tell me I’m not the only one who does that.
Anyway, I’ve been using it for about a month now and I have had no new peeling on my nails at all. There are still some spots where it was already peeled that are still growing out, but no new peeling has occurred. This is literally a first for me so that’s pretty impressive.
WHAT IT IS:
An oil and keratin treatment that moisturizes and helps strengthen the layers of the nail, which keeps them strong and stops the peeling nails in their tracks. They have a much fancier way of explaining it I’m sure but that’s it in plain English.
HOW TO USE IT:
The recommended way to use this product is to use it on your bare nails, twice a day for a week and then use it less often just to maintain your nails thereafter. If you’re anything like me then walking around with naked nails for an entire week is torture, so I kinda did it my own way and I still had great results. I usually paint my nails about twice a week, so once I had all of my polish removed I would apply the RescueRXx to my nails and let it sit for a half hour and wash it off before I repaint. Then on the days when I am not removing my polish I paint a little bit on the underside of my nails twice a day. Since it’s only the tips that need the most help anyway, I have found it to be very effective.
That being said if you are willing to leave your nails bare for a week and just apply this religiously twice a day I bet you would see killer results.
You can see on my middle finger that there is still some residual texture from where it had peeled previously. That was a particularly bad one so it’s gonna take a while to grow out. The rest are good to go though. SO.AWESOME.
So if you deal with peeling nails I definitely recommend checking this stuff out. It’s seriously the only thing that has had a big impact on my peeling nails, and I’ve been on a hunt for a solution to this for a really long time. Maybe I should see how long I can grow my nails now that they don’t peel anymore! Just like let them go until it gets creepy and my friends and family hold an intervention and hold me down and cut them against my will. What do you guys think?

Wanted to buy but u can’t ship to Saskatchewan 🙁
oh no! ugh I hate when that happens. Maybe try some international sites like cult beauty? It’s worth a shot!
How does it compare to Barielle and Trind?
I actually haven’t tried either of those! I’ve used nailtique, nailtech, mavala and various others that have been recommended by salons over the years and never really had such positive result until I tried this.
