Yeah it’s the first week of August and there’s like a month and a half left of summer but I don’t care! I’m ready for fall stuff…I won’t start wearing it yet because then I’ll ruin it for myself but I’m ready to start lusting over it. I mean a little fall shopping or fall online window shopping never hurt anyone so whatever, I’m diving right in!

I have only tried on of the Kat Von D everlasting Liquid Lipsticks and it was in the color Vampira. I was not impressed by how it applied and it had a really weird finish. It almost looked metallic and patchy like when a pen breaks and the ink dries…do you know what I mean? Anyway everyone keeps telling me it’s just that shade and the formula on the rest is amazing so I really want to try Exorcism. Its a very deep berry red which will be really nice for fall and it’s one of the new shades so I get to feel like I’m trying something new and fun. Also that shade is just so me. I want everything to be that color like all the time.

I really like Bite products, and this product seems so interesting and unlike the rest of their range that I just need to at least swatch it at the store. it’s like a translucent opal shimmer that you can put over any other lipstick color to give it a new finish and a hint of color shift. So cool! The reason I’m including this in my fall shopping list is because I feel like if i put this over a summer color like pink or something it would be very Barbie-ish and not at all appealing to me, but over a dark red…ooooo girl! That could get really interesting and I bet it makes your teeth look super white because of the blue hint in it

Do I even need to explain? This is like the essential fall nail polish color. Sure I have a lot of those but this color looks especially rich and delicious. The problem with having an arts background combined with a beauty product addiction is that you can really find ways to justify all the colors. This is deeper and cooler than most of my reds, but pinker and warmer than a lot of my burgundy colors so I obviously need it. See what I mean?

I thought the cushion packaging and the colors were very interesting when I saw them in Ulta, and I was killing time while my broken phone screen got replaced at the apple store so I swatched all of the colors. I showed the swatches on snapchat after I got home so you may have seen them already (I’m msquinnface on snapchat if you want to watch me do random crap throughout the day) I have to say that most of them were really lame and disappointing but the Copper Ink color was really beautiful. “Smokey Quartz” was nice too but the copper was more exciting to me. I can see it as a simple winged liner with that Kat Von D Liquid Lipstick, looking all sexy-fall-vixen and sh*t. If I pick it up I’ll let you guys know how I like the formula, obviously.

I have this jacket in a light vintage denim wash and I love it. It’s so classic and comfortable. I usually don’t wear it in the fall though because the wash is very light and summery, so I feel like this washed black color is just the thing I need to bring that jacket into my fall wardrobe.

Ok, I’m done fake fall shopping for now…until it’s time. Then we strike. And by we I mean me and my debit card, and buy strike I mean buy all the things and send a petition to Jeffrey Cambell for a larger size. ?
