Oh mah gooodddd it’s FridayFaces time! Where do I start? These makeup looks from the last few weeks are jumbled up, the lighting is all over the place aaaaaand theres one whole look missing because I got food poisoned on the 4th of July in my own house while hosting ten people. More on that in a moment.

First let’s talk lighting, because since I moved I have been struggling to get the lighting to be the same all the time, and I mostly use natural light for makeup photos so wtf is the deal? Is the sun different here? No because I moved five blocks soooo. Anyways, I’ll figure it out. Maybe I’ll have to just set up box lighting and get used to using that instead. Also I got a new camera for makeup photos and I’m really excited to start using it, so FridayFaces might be stepping its game up soon. We shall see.

So yeah, My 4th of July makeup is missing because I told myself “hey self, you can sneak away and snap some photos of it later once everyone has arrived and has a drink and stuff. Don’t even worry about it.” Then it rained and I had to deal with that and then when I finally sat down my stomach was like “Oh hey it’s time to relax? How about we throw up a few times an hour for the next 8 hours instead, would that be fun? No? We’re gonna anyway though so hang on to your hat” and that’s how that happened.

But none the less, I did get a few photos of makeup looks from the recent past when I was not knocking on death door…ok ok that’s dramatic I wasn’t dying but if you’ve had food poisoning before you know it sorta feels like you are. Anyway…on to the makeup! Sometimes I’m pretty hard up for makeup ideas, but lately the answer has been to just try some subtle color. Maybe summer vibes are creeping in on me or something.

I can’t decide if these mirrored makeup photos are creepy or cool..or both. I’m gonna go with both. It may not show on my face here, but I was super pumped when I took this because I was going to get a new phone. I mean that may not sound that exciting to you, but you should probably take into account the fact that my old phone was so jacked up that I had to literally carry a charger into every room of my house with me to make sure it didn’t die while I listened to a podcast or music or whatever. Times were tough. Now I got a big sexy gold six plus and I’m not gonna lie I feel like a total boss. Pew Pew my phone works I’m winning at life.

I wore this look on the third of July, before the I fell into a deep hole of worshipping the porcelain god…I’m talking a lot about being sick here. I’m sorry I’m naturally just inclined to be gross, ask my friends. Mostly this look was almost the same as what I wore on the 4th but I switched to a red lip and put some gold in the waterline, to be festive. There are actually a few photos of me wearing it that my father in law took while I sat outside and tried to fake the funk. It didn’t work, they were the post pathetic photos ever.

You see what I’m saying about the lighting in the close ups? It’s all over the map. How pretty is that periwinkle eyeliner though? I don’t know why I haven’t used that more, its such a pretty color. Also, rimmel makes some dope lip liners, who knew? Oh everyone but me until recently, apparently 😉
