Even though deep down I know I don’t need to buy more makeup…pretty much for the rest of my life, I still get super excited about new makeup releases. These companies just keep outdoing themselves and coming out with so many cool things. The internet and social media have created such an environment of companies knowing exactly what the consumer wants and exactly what their competition is that things just keep rolling out one better than the next. It’s awesome, and I’m gonna be so so broke.

Apparently what the people want is liquid to matte lipsticks and highlighters that make you shine like the sun because that’s what seems to be launching all over the place. I’m not even mad though, I want them all. Now let’s quit yapping and take a look at the launches that are giving me a #makeupboner

First up in Anastasia Beverly Hills. They are launching new shades of their Liquid Lips on July 15th and then highlighters in August which are a completely new product for them.

I couldn’t really find any great shots of the highlighters yet, I’m pretty sure they have only been shown on snapchat and thats a screenshot someone took (if it’s your screenshot let me know and I’ll credit you) but they looks freakin’ boooomb. And the liquid lips colors? SHUT YOUR FACE AND GIVE ME ALL OF THEM. Even the blue. I know a lot of people won’t be rocking navy blue anytime soon, but you bet your ass I will. I have my sassy days. And Sepia, Trust Issues and Dusty Rose are about to become a part of the daily rotation, mark my words.

Speaking of liquid lipsticks Kat Von D Beauty is launching TWENTY FIVE new shades of everlasting Liquid Lipstick in July. And they all look pretty amazing. Admittedly I’m more into the studded kiss formula, but everyone swears the liquids are amazing so I’m going to give it another shot.

And still one more, which is actually coming out really soon (like tomorrow by the time this post launches) is Colourpop’s new liquid lipstick formula. I’ve been really impressed with their products so far and the price is pretty unbelievable. There are 25 (I think) shades and they are going to be 6 dollars a pop! That’s good news and bad news for makeup hoarders because on one hand you can get a few of them for a decent price…on the other hand you can now justify buying way more of them.

There are more new makeup releases coming out that are really cool too, like Becca releasing a colab highlight color with Jaclyn Hill and NYX releasing their own liquid to matte lipsticks but there aren’t really swatches of that yet and quite frankly I can’t handle all that right now. My brain is just overloaded with all the things.
