It’s Christmasss, it’s christmas time. I know what your trying to say, you’re tryina say it’s time for Christmas it’s christmas tiiiimmme.
Anyone else wish Flight of the Conchords would do a christmas album? It would be so fun.
There is just one single weekend left between us and Christmas which means that there are going to be a butt load of holiday parties this Friday and Saturday. Which in turn means that you guys are going to be needing some holiday party makeup ideas! I started this week off with some holiday lip looks, but today I wanted to talk about fun color combinations.
Playing with color is so fun and interesting, and we could get into all the specific details of why certain things look the way they do together, but for holiday party stuff I think it’s more fun to just play around and see what works. As I was sitting and sorting through products I couldn’t help but think about how so many of them would look festive together, given the right context. So I laid out my five favorite combinations.
This is not necessarily product specific, so you can just take this is as color inspiration. It’s really good sometimes to take an idea and draw inspiration from it using things you already have. It gives a renewed appreciation for your products (and it’s easier on the wallet this time of year which I know we could all appreciate). I’ll still link to where you can find the items that are still available (some of them aren’t made anymore or were from limited edition sets etc etc) in case you are dying for that particular color though.

I think this weekend I’m going to rock the Fuchsia and Bronze combination, I went with classic red last week and I think it’s time to spice it up a bit. Now if only I could figure out what to wear on the rest of me…
