Labor Day Weekend is behind us, and you know what that means? Time for fall stuff! Well . . .sorta. Like I mentioned in my last post september can be a bit of a transition period. But that doesn’t mean we can’t get all geared up to find some cool fall must haves!

In the next week or so I will be posting about my picks for fall lipsticks and nails polishes, but for now lets look at my fall wish list.

1. OCC Lip Tar Unknown Pleasures Collection - The OCC Lip Tar in Pagan from the fall 2014 Unknown Pleasures Collection is a matte blackened purple color, and I think I need it in my life. But there’s a reason why this is a wish list item and not something I already bought. Actually there are a few reasons, the first one is that I own way way WAY too many OCC lip tars. The second one is because I own way too many lip colors in general and the third is that I feel like it’s a “once in a while” sort of color. But the matte dark purple color is just too awesome to pass up so I may indeed need to get my hands on this. Who am I kidding? I’m totally getting it the next time I’m within a mile of Sephora.
2. Hourglass Ambient Lighting Blush in Champagne Rose - I purchased the ambient lighting blush in “diffused heat” a few months ago, and since that time I have noticed that A- I reach for it almost every single day. B- My cheeks look amazing almost every single day and C- I have barely made a dent in it, in spite of this frequent use. So obviously if I’m going to purchase more blush in the near future it should be one of it’s Hourglass brothers or sisters. I’m leaning toward champagne rose because I think it will give my cheeks a nice healthy rosy flush once I’m back to my pasty white winter self. By the way, if you haven’t tried any of these blushes you should at least try to text one at the store or get a sample. They apply super easily, it’s like the practically blend themselves, and the color lasts all day.
3. Rebecca Minkoff Hudson Moto Mini in Black - I’ve been really into more structured and ladylike bags these days. I tend to wear a lot of flowy shirts or slouchy sweaters, and jeans with holes in them. So the structure of this kind of bag kind of makes the outfit look more polished. I got a Rebecca Minkoff Mac Daddy in Burgundy a few years ago as a gift and although it’s not as structured as what I’m looking for at the moment, I’m still in love with the quality of it. So I think the perfect fall addition this year will be the Moto Mini in black. I really could use a small black back, I’m sorta over carrying a huge sack around with me everywhere. Anyone else feel like that? I’m done being Mary Poppins.
4. Free People “Hybrid” Boot - I have a boot problem. Every year I want more, even though I have a pretty large collection to begin with. To me it’s all about the detailing, and these Free People Hybrid Boots are just a bundle of fantastic detail. The straps, the cutouts, the distressing. I love them and I want my feet to be friends with them.
5. Paddywax Apothecary Rosemary & Thyme Candle - Last fall I bought a Paddywax Apothecary candle in the Scent Tobacco Patchouli and I think it’s just the cutest thing ever. It’s so old timey looking and the flame makes the amber glass look so warm and cozy when you light it. The scent is also really awesome, and warm and fall like. Being that I loved that version so much, I think this fall I may need to branch out and try the Rosemary & Thyme scent. As you may have noticed I kind of love rosemary so the thought of filling my house with the smell of it is quite appealing, and part of me just wants to find out if it smells like thanksgiving 😉
