Hi everyone! The blog has been slightly neglected this week and I apologize! It’s been just one of those weeks when things get crazy. It seems like my life works in cycles where I have two really boring weeks and I want to pull my hair out, and then the next week I’m so busy that I never get to sit down.

So this week has been a “never sit down” week, and the frequency of my posts has suffered a bit. So just to pop in and say hello, I decided to show you a quick “Nail Of The Day” featuring my recent obsession….

The pinky finger accent nail!

Now I know an accent nail is a pretty simple and common thing, but something about pairing a really glittery metallic pinky nail with a glossy, dark color reminds me of old school, over the top, lavish, 70’s gangster style. Just in a slightly more subdued way.

It’s the nail polish equivalent of a pinky ring!

Anyway, this weekend is IMATS NYC 2013 and I’m super excited to go! Last year it was a ton of fun and I wound up coming home with way too much new makeup…what am I saying? There’s no such thing as too much new makeup.

So I will definitely have pictures of the experience up on the blog next week, OR I may even vlog it, we’ll see how it goes.
