The other day I discovered a fun little combination of eyeliners that reminded me of a peacock. It was so fun and pretty that I wore it two days in a row and the second day I took pictures of how I did it. It’s very simple and self explanatory, but those are usually the easiest things to recreate, so might as well show you how I did it.
Basically all you need to know for this look is that Urban Decay 24/7 Pencil in Asphyxia layered over a black liner (as shown above) creates an incredible, multi-chromatic color.
First I applied my favorite liquid liner, which is the Stila Stay All Day Liquid Eyeliner in Intense Black
Next I simply ran Asphyxia over the top of that line. As you can see it makes a very cool color, it’s like they black underneath brings out all of these fun things you never even knew were in the color. It looks almost like metallic navy in most lights, but as it moves you can see purple and teal.
Then I just finished the rest of my eye as usual. Applied an inner corner highlight, a champagne color to the waterline, curled the lashes and applied mascara. I thought this was a fun little way to spice up your every day look, and if nothing else maybe it would inspire you to try layering some of your more subtle liners over black and see what comes out!
