It’s been a while since we check in on my PMD journey. You know why? Because I said so that’s why! I kid, I kid. There’s a method to my madness. I gave it a few extra weeks before checking back in because I wanted to do a few more treatments and hopefully see more results before I took more photos.
Originally I started the treatments under the impression that you should see significant results in six weeks. Well, full honesty, that’s just not the case. Serves me right for taking what I read on the internet at face value, what a dumdum pop…I mean I write things on the internet too but not everything is honest. I feel like this is a longer and more sustained journey than they let on. But after 8 full treatments I am finally seeing some results in my skin texture so I think there is some promise if I keep using it long term. Here’s a side by side of my skin.
You can view a larger version here if you really want to get up in my pores, swim around in there, take a tour, make yourself a sammich and get real familiar with my naked skin.
You can see that some of the pitted acne scars have gotten smaller and a lot of the little bumps under the skin around my jaw have gone away. I’m pretty excited!
The difference isn’t huge, but at least now I can see it! The treatments are really easy and don’t take more than 10-15 minutes so I don’t mind doing it once a week long term if it will make my skin super smooth eventually.
Over all I would say that for a $159 investment and a few minutes a week I’m pretty damn happy with it, but if you read online that your skin will be like a baby’s ass in a matter of weeks and you expect that to happen, you’re probably going to be a little pissed. Isn’t that true about everything though? You have to take promises with a grain of salt. #lifelessonswithnicole
So if you’ve been wondering about PMD results and are considering making that investment, keep all this in mind. My official review is that it’s worth it, but it’s just a little slower than expected ????
