There are very few things I love in this world more than fall lip colors. Normally every year I gather up my top five lipsticks of all formulas and finishes, but since this year my liquid lipstick addiction is at an all time high and it’s pretty much the only thing I’ve been wearing, I decided it was probably appropriate to focus on those. So top five fall liquid lipsticks it is!
Side note, my lips are super dry from swatching these all in a row. Oh well, it was worth it.
This is a super beautiful mauve/nude color for every day. It kinda goes with everything and it’s definitely very trendy and fall appropriate. The updated formula of the Anastasia liquid lipsticks is pretty great too. I liked the original formula just fine, but I really like the updated one.
While we’re talking about ABH colors let’s get weird with it, shall we? I know a lot of you might shy away from a black lip and that’s cool, that’s cool. But if you have been pondering it for a while and are on the fence I highly recommend trying ‘midnight’. It’s a warm toned black, which makes it infinitely more flattering and if you pair it with a simply eye and warmed up skin it looks super chic and really not goth at all. It’s also nice that the liquid to matte formula wears a bit better than a creamy lipstick black is not very forgiving if it fades or smears, ya feel me?
And last from the ABH lineup is Sarafine which is the red that I included in my fall must haves video. It’s a perfect fall red, it’s a little dark without being vampy and it’s super flattering and gorgeous on a lot of skin tones. And it looks so so good paired with a warm coppery eye look.
This color is such a gorgeous super dark red, burgundy, maroon whatever the hell you want to call that color family. It’s definitely a vampy dark color, but it wouldn’t be fall if we didn’t bust these colors out every now and then right? Out of all these liquid lipsticks colourpop’s formula is definitely the most matte…which is fitting since they are called ultra matte liquid lipsticks. But if you are into really, truly matte colors then these are for you.
Stila Stay All Day Liquid Lipsticks are my all time favorite formula, so I don’t know how I was sleeping on this color for so long. LOOK AT IT. Full on juicy berry fall gorgeousness. While it is definitely very similar to a lot of the deep berry colors that are popular right now, there is a touch of gold reflects through it that give it an incredible finish and really set it apart from the rest.
As far as fall liquid lipsticks go, these are the ones that are in heavy rotation on my face this year. Are you into these types of colors? What are you gravitating toward this year?
